Back Link Update Frequency

How often is G updating backlinks these days?

Wondering if anyone knows the frequency of back link updates with Google. Used to be once a month, but it seems to be longer than that these days...?

Anyone document the last several updates?

Last time there was a hint from GG that someone had suggested G to update PR and backlink by quarterly...if this were to be true, then it will be somewhere around June...
