Backward links from affiliate code links?

Today I noticed that if I did backward links on my site I got results of affilite sites that on their page only have a affiliate code link. The link is to the affiliate program a not to my page. I have looked in the source code of these pages and not found our URL. Isn´t this strange? This must mean that google follows the redirect to the destination page (our)...

They will count it because redirects and it's not that odd because It does this to me.

As I've seen since now, if you have a link from page A to B, and B is a redirect to C, G counts it as if page A had a link to C.
My personal page has a long url (domain/subdir/myname/index.html, you can see it in my profile) and I have a redirect.
All links to the redirect, to the full url and to domain/subdir/myname are reported as backlinks for all three URLs.
This happens because G does count by files and not by addresses: if many addresses point to the same file, google takes them as a unique address.
