Is it dropping from google?

Hi,
I have a site of which i have around 2100 pages indexed in google till 3-4 months back.

Now I can see that when i look for all the urls indexed from my site in google, I can see many of the Urls for which it just shows the url in the search results. ow this Number has gone to approximately 100 now. I know that my server was not down for a long time.

Does it mean that my site is gettign banned. I can put my site in the URL if that can help.

That happened to my site a few years ago. At the time, Google had an explanation of it at its site saying that it was an occasional error that would be fixed through its normal updating procedures. Descriptions at my site were restored about a month later.

The page which is just showing the URL in the SERPS, has a PR 1 so I can not say this banned but I know that my server was not down so why this seems to show only url in google and not title. Now this is happening with 3-4 urls of my site. can somebody throw any light on this.
This is happenning with 2 of my sites now. (both in profile).
This happend with one of my site earlier also. First the home page dropped and then 600 pages at one go and then all the 1400 pages but only 8 were left and then 8 also gone.

A lot of sites are having pages dropped at the moment, anyone else noticing a consistent drop in the number of pages indexed since early March? Not talking about rank here, just the actual number of indexed pages for established sites.

My sites are experiencing this also. about 100K pages dropped in all after first week of march. Dont know what is happening here.

The problem you are seeing is symptomatic of a bigger problem a lot of sites are experiencing. Please review the thread
