I have been reading in webmasterworld for about 2 months and decided to post for the first time. I have been optimizing my site for a particular keyword and my site after the update went from a pr 2 to 6 and from no backlinks to 2280. My question is that before the update I was nowhere to be found for that search keyword and if I put the keyword in the quotation marks it's number 173. It has been this way for 2 weeks with no change and yet googlebot is crawling my site everyday. Should I change the site or do I have to wait until google does somekind of an serp update? I'm not using any spam, have unique contant with keywords etc.
Does anyone else have this problem?
