My site's ranking has dropped on Google post November. While the site is indexed it is no longer in Google's directory - I've noted that those above me in ranking are in directories. Does being in directory help ranking? How can I get back into directory? The site's domain name was recently changed with a redirect page created to send readers to the new site. Could this have adversely effected my situation in Google as I believe they do not like redirects?
