My website has recently changed from keyword.com to brandname.com. Its been about a month and my old website has a redirect on it. My new website with brandname.com is on the 3rd page results for google, where keyword.com used to be in the 3rd spot. My question is, since google is changing ever so rapidly, should I tweak the page so that the kw freq is higher, or should I just try to get more backlinks to my website with the anchor text of my target keywords (ie, directories, etc).

Thanks,
Shawn

You should work on getting as many of the inbound links pointing to your old domain updated to the new domain. Until you've re-established the same level of inbound links on the new site, you probably don't want to make any dramatic changes.

Ok, thanks for the help. One more thing, this might be off topic, but if you had to choose, what do you believe is more important, anchor text imbound links or the actual content and keword frequency of that page?

Thanks,
Shawn

Always keyword anchor text that we use to link for the detailed page or so...
