Hello people. Was wondering if anyone in south africa and the rest of the world were having problems with the google homepage. It seems that www.google.com is bringing up its Deutsch equivalent. You guys seeing this?

I would assume its local to South Africa, or to you.

Google appear to set re-directs on google.com in other countries to their local variant. Recently in Thailand typing google.com sent me to Google thailand. The way I got a script I could understand was to type google.co.uk which does not re-direct

In your case you could do the same thing

Why the default for SA may have been set to Germany I have no Idea. It's either a mistake my them, or more likely something to do with you, for example you may be using a German ISP.

Suggest you ask a few local around you if they have the problem

Yeah the thing is that all the scripts I get are not german but in english. I am on an american ISP. I reckon its got something to do with the image/logo being swapped. Any Germans got an image without "Deutsch"?
