Google not visiting few sites. Date Tag only on most but left out a few

None of my 130+ sites have the Googlebot Date Showing on them. Of course, the stat sometimes show that Google bot visited some of them but again none of the pages/cache has been changed or any backward links updated since 6 weeks now.
We can see that the date/spidering is on but still, google bot has left/ignored a few sites.
What could be the reason? Penalization? Database problem?
