IMHO Google doesnot want to know our page rank nor does it want to know our link popularity as they are the end means in values. Google spider wants to figure out how to mechanically determine why one page links to another and from this they calculate page rank and link popularity. I would like to get some discussion using logic on why one web page links to another. IMHO Google wants to think like us to better analyse the web and improve their search results. Lets discuss what we think in regards to why websites link to each other(without considering page rank and link popularity) and we may get a better analysis of what Google is trying to do. Lets think like independant surfers of the web. I feel our ideas "why" with no opinions is what Google is searching for and set as their goal so lets keep this discussion only on why.
I look forward to your "why".
