iframe and frame.one gets cached

why cache it one way?

It puzzles me. Google will not cache the linked page of a frame. It will show a blank page if you look at the cache of a frames page. Why then does it cache the page and the linked page if you use an iframe instead. why is it capable of of doing it one way and not the other? Both amount to the same thing. A linked page being presented within a different url.

Is the iframed page showing up in the Google search results doing well for its keywords?

you probably want to get the page (in iframe) linked directly from your homepage for the next big crawl; and additionally (if it is hosted on your server) linked permanently in your sitemap (i assume you have one?)

im not using an iframe. Im just confused why Google distinguishes between them. Is it because the iframe doesnt have a noframes portion? Why credit a page with the content of a linked page in an iframe and not a basic frame page?

Although the Iframe appears in the Google Cache - the content of the Iframe is not creditted as part of the page content.

I guess it is the same with images, style sheets etc - the Google cache paged calls the iframe, style sheet and/or images and they are therefore displayed.

I assume that the way framsets operate mean that the cache on a framed page does not call all individual frames.
