directory.google.com - search is faulty

I have three directory entries two of which are more recent (~4 months instead of 12 in dmoz). A search for mydomain.com in the directory yields only one result (the first one). However, the following Google search yields all three entries.

site:directory.google.com mydomain.com

The newer entries have been in the Google dir for a couple of months. You would think that the one thing Google would get right when keeping a directory was basic searching.
