any risk from javascript tracking code?

I am trying some visitor tracking software for the first time and it requires a snippet of javascript on each page. Is this common enough not to raise any flags w/ google? Would they associate this with a rank-checker user? I don't abuse the rank-checker.

I've never ran into a problem with running a tracker. I think Googlebot pretty much ignores Javascript.

Likewise - I also run several Javascript based tracking themes and G just ignores it all... not a problem.
