where/how to check if your website has been blacklisted by Google?

I am trying to find out how I can see if my website is blacklisted with Google, anyone any idea?

Since saturday 14th, my site has GRAYED PR for an unknown reason. I didn't change anything on my site for months, I have only exchanged some links but I have removed all the links with grayed PR last week.

I was wondering if anyone of you, experienced guys, can give me some hints on how to write an appeal to google?

I've had a site with google problems for several months now (www.theenvironmentsite.org). It has numerous links back to it (and has done for several months), has plenty of pages actually in google, is listed in the ODP and Google Directory, yet ranks nowhere, even for the domain name (in quotes), and has no page rank.

2 years ago I got a site banned for crosslinking, yes I know I was stupid, but I've learnt my lesson, anyway the site was banned and once I found out why removed all the links then dropped a line to webmaster@G 12 mths later the PR returned and I got my rankings back, so be prepared for a long wait

What do you mean by crosslinking.
I am rather new at this stuff. Maybe that's what my problem is. I had One website that was doing great. I built 4 more and yes linked them all up together. They share the same shopping cart so it made good sense to link them. A month or two later and now somethings wrong. Any help or advise is apreciated

Ok, I have a question my website www.jlwinstruments.com has a google ranking of 4/10 but as far as I can see the googlebot has not crawled the site since August. Also by doing a search on my company we do not show up directly. Any ideas why this might be and how I can fix it?

I can tell you this, my website just took a full month off. it is now back in the directory at it's former status? Now one of my other sites is no where to be found. Something is going on with google. Wait it out
