.eu.com .us.com and .uk.com domains?

All these sub domains seem to be ignored by this new google algo, is there any reason for this does anyone know?

In a financial search there is one company in the UK with 5 out of 10 sites on page one using spamming, extreme cross linking and other anti g tactis and the only thing we can see is the domains are .eu.com, .gb.com and .uk.com and .uk.net

Anyone have any ideas?
