I'm sure this cannot be done, but I really would like to see where a particular site has been on a specific keyword over the last 6 months.
I don't suppose there is a way of doing this?

Using an API key it is possible and within the TOS of Google if you don't do anything commercial I think (read the TOS anyway).
You'd need a script that queries Google every day and stores the results in a database, and another script to allows you to map the position of an url for a keyword in history. Not difficult for a programmer.

I was thinking there might be a website that lets you query a site and its history (not your own).
I wanted to look how a competitor has faired over the last 6 months, not from now.

I think it would be against Googles TOS, so don't expect it, but I'd suggest start watching/recording for yourself now and analyse in 6 months.

The way back when site works for some Search engines - unfortunately Google is not one of them!
