I have a site that is only a PR4 - no biggie. I checked over the weekend, and it showed a CACHE update of 02/07/2004. I looked today - and it shows the OLD CACHE that existed prior to this.

Totally wierd!

Is anyone else seeing this?

This has been going on for months. I can say from experience that this will probably go on for a while for you, depending on the size of your site. Basically, from what I've seen, when google is updating a keyword block, lots of sites dissappear while it updates your pages to their new criterials. My site came and went for about 3 weeks. Then, for about 2 weeks we enjoyed top 5 rankings! It seems that when updating the smaller sites finish first, sitting at the top until the larger sites are completed. Then we dropped back down to our old ranking on the 3rd page. It seems to me that google is putting everyone in the mad house just to clean house, and in the end the house is only a little cleaner. I can't imagine what would happen if they actually used bleach!
