I have a site with 3000 items. Every item has its own page. Now every artist has some items. So i have about 4000 sites. And every artist also has its own page with its items listed.

G only indexed all artists and not every item. What am i doing wrong. every page ends at .html or .htm.

Now i thought of building a sitemap so GB can index every item. But the sitemap may contain less than 100 links, how can i fix this?

I have another few questions.

Is a robots.txt file needed? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

Do i have to use a sitemap?

I made a 6x6 matrix with 36 different sentences. Every text by every item has its own text with 6 sentences. With these 36 different sentences i can create 6 to the power 6 different texts. Every text contains 6 sentences. Does G recognizes this as spam?

I changed some names of my directorys which where indexed, google deleted them but G didn't index the new name, what can i do about it?

In a world of $10 words, bifurcate's gotta rate at least $15. Sorry for the OT, but it definately isn't a word you see being used very often! :)

Yes, Google can recognize this as spam, if it ever matters.

It's the sort of thing that makes competitors line up to throw stones through the Google quality feedback hoops...if, that is, it ranks high enough to notice. Which, of course, means you probably don't have to worry about it. That spam technique is SO last-millenium.

Well my site is at the first page for "artist widget", .. but only the artist pages are indexed. On this pages i don't use the kind of spam technique i mentioned before. On the items pages i do, but they aren't indexed. Before i used the technique the items pages weren't also indexed. So i was wondering if google can recognize it. Otherwise i have to take it away.

Well i have 6*6*6*6*6*6=? pieces of different text. For every item i sell the text is different, but the meaning of the text is the same. This text is placed by every item's page.

On my site i also have pages for every artist. Every artist made some item. On the artist page i place every item the artist made. On the artist page i don't use the technique mentioned before.

Now G has indexed every artist page. But it hasn't indexed the items page. Now i was wondering if this could be due to the technique mentioned before. Or can't G find the items pages?

Well i thought of making a sitemap so G could maybe find the items pages.

For example: if you search for special d ringtones i'm on that page. But only the artist page is listed. If you search for: come with me ringtones

I want the artist's item listed and not the artist himself. So the user goes directly to the item, because he searches for the item. Maybe it is clear now what i mean

Well I'm not clear at all on the spam stuff, but...

sitemapping for 3000 pages is easy.
Link to a sitemap page from your main page.
On the sitemap page have links to 30 submap pages.
Have each submap link to 100 pages.

And if you have some pages that you want to send more PR to, make more than 30 links and put links to the key pages on each submap page.
