Different results for different countries?

I¡¦m just getting crazy! ;) My website which actually (and I¡¦m trying to be very impartial) should be on the top results of Google for it¡¦s topic, doesn¡¦t appear on the first 1000 results¡K ƒ¼

Ok, I guess this happened because of over keywording and already corrected this, so, waiting for the next indexing¡K As accordingly to google watch, it should be on 20 something on the list¡K

But, what amazes me, is, when I search for it, using the keywords I need it to be shown, on sites like google.it, google.de, google.pt, google.es, my website is on the 2nd page! Where I would very happily, for now see it¡K ;)

Why does it show on foreign language pages (when I search for an English term), and it doesn¡¦t show on English pages? The site is all in English!

Actually, for this topic, I find the foreign google listings (in English) better than the English google listings (that is, from English countries).

This is because of the filter (that is still applying to my site)? Or maybe, because it¡¦s host is in France? Am I going crazy? ;)
