On Google for a Day!

Should I be concerned?

Hi
just moved 2 sites from subfolders to independent hosting (unable to use htaccess)
Put links on the old pages and figured it would take Google a while to sort it out.

Within a couple of days the Google search showed one of the new sites in place of the old mysite.com/oldsite,
which was nowhere to be found.

Absolutely fantastic a great result.
However it lasted a day. Now the old site is back and the new one nowhere to be seen?

Any hints, tips or suggestions greatly appreciated.
Regards
Rod

What you saw is a part of the continouus update process of Google. Sites discovered by Freshbot will appear for some hours/days and reappear a few later. But after a few weeks your sites should be in continouusly. So, don't worry.

I had similar issues and they were resolved (on their own) within a few weeks.
