Dupe filter weirdness?

I've noticed some weirdness with the dupe filter lately. Specifically, queries of the type "site:www.domain.com www.domain.com" that used to return all pages on the site are starting to return 3-5 pages, with the all-famous "some of your search results have been omitted..." message.

I've also noticed weirdness in doing normal searches, but I haven't been able to nail down a pattern yet.

Anyone else noticing strange behavior in the dupe filter?

I've looked at this post and studied it for quite awhile Jake and (sorry to say) I'm not sure what you are seeing there.

That is always (site:xyz.com xyz.com) an interesting search.

Anyone?

Me too, 90% of the links listed on the SERPS of 'site:www.mysite.com' are indicated as 'Similar pages', no descriptions and catched.

While 100% of the SERPS for one of my website on search 'site:www.mysite.com' are indicated as 'Supplemental Result'.

Any idea?

3-5 pages, with the all-famous "some of your search results have been omitted..."

Yes, if the pages on your site are very similar to each other, it'll do that. For example, I have a site with 8 pages and a large amount of identical text on each page, and Google only returns 2 pages at a time.

It could be that the similar content filter has become more sensitive.
