Post Florida much of the debate centred around the links strategy and more than a few experts seemed to think that inbound links from unrelated sites would be downgraded (if not actually penalized) by Google. The idea being that Google was going after the PR sellers.

But a recent check on the SERPS tells me this hasn't happened. I've found more than a few sites which are doing VERY well on the SERPS thanks to sponsored links from totally unrelated sites.

A check on Google's backlinks reveals tons of inbounds from just one or two high PR sites (PR8 for example) which are charging top dollar for sponsored text links.

So the PR sellers are still doing fine after Florida? Nice work if you can get it.
