Hi all, I have been searching through all forums for some discussion re Google only including the URL of a page, with no title, snippet or cache.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or does anyone have any comments.

I don't remember exactly what googleguy said about this. But I think he said that it means the page has been found (for example, thru a link on another page) but hasn't been spidered yet.

Take a look here

[webmasterworld.com...]

This thread has been going on since Oct, and there seems to be more and more sites showing up in SERPS with only a URL

This is a very frustrating occurance. Section four of this page explains the happening:
[google.com...]
You are experiencing a "partially indexed page". If you are working on behalf of another company(or if you have to report to someone else) it can be difficult to explain that this is a fact of life with listings in Google. They will eventually get back to your pages and get them in as fully indexed pages. But it can take a couple months. It always hurts to wait, though.
