Note: I didn't add any of the ones people assumed were Google but were just Googles branded option served from Google.com.

I would like to correct and to add some things to the Portuguese engines using googleīs results.
IOL must have www on itīs address, or itīll turn on a Page Not Found. The correct url is [iol.pt...]
Sapo.pt use Google results as backup/secondary for their own database. They call that option Mundial. The url is [sapo.pt...]
Descobre.net does the same. It has itīs own database, but on the regular serp there is another searchbox on the bottom for people who havenīt found what he/she was looking for. Itīs called Pesquisa Global and it uses Googleīs results. The url is [descobre.net...]
Now the portuguese section is 100% complete.

I think that it isnīt important if the site is paying Google several thousands to serve their customized SERPS or if they are using their free cobranded version. The important is that visitors use it, and come to our sites. One of the biggest portals on my country ( IOL ) used to have the Google paid customized version, but they are now using the free version, and we cannot neglect them just for that. They have hundreds of thousands of visitors that just donīt care about that and search anyway. For Google isnīt so bad after all... they receive exposure to their logo, making people familiar with it.

Brett uses "dancecard" to mean sites that include Google search results. Some people refer to the Google index update as "the google dance" while still others use "dance" when referring to the Googlebot crawling their pages.
For the love of god, can this expression just die, or, at the very least, agree on a common usage?
Google's Dance Card: Places that use Google results.
Google Dance: The changing results during an update.
Google Crawl: Googlebot crawling people's pages.
Their search seems to be buggy though (that's why I don't use it). Sometimes it doesn't return any results for a keyword, then you hit search again for the same keyword and you get 60 thousand.
I agree entirely, I hate the use of the term "Google Dance"...it sounds horrible. I vote that we restrict the use to "Google's Dance Card" and stick to Google update or another term.
