I was just searching for some term on Google and I found a msn.com/....... link that is basically a search engine results page. Is it normal to have it there or not?

I feel one search engine should not be displaying other search engine's search results pages.

Anybody to comment on this Google Search Engines Results behaviour?

It's OK to fetch a results page, as long as the engine that's crawling obeys Robots Exclusion Protocol.

I see that [search.msn.com...] returns 404, but if I search for { site:search.msn.com +com } on Google I don't see results pages.

I noticed this a while back - Google (or maybe ATW) was indexing MSN SERPs, and MSN wasn't disallowing it, either by robots.txt or meta robots.
