combo box with GO button

is it recognized by Google as Text links

Hey guys,
I want to ask about the combo box with a GO button, is it recognized by Google and considered as Text links or what

well, I don't know for sure, but I would guess the answer is no.

A form submission is definitely not the same as a text link, and I don't believe the google bot will follow form submissions or attempt to submit any data via a form.

A text link can be easily parsed, a form cannot be parsed as easily.

The text in the choices is recognized as text (because it's between <select> and </select>, but not otherwise inside a tag). But it's not considered a link.
