Google links not being counted

What aren't PR4+ sites showing up?

I had a number of sites put up links to my site and all their link pages and home pages were at least PR4. The links were put up over 5 months ago. When I check Google using the link: command, none show up. Five months is enough time for Google to index them and there are at least 10 sites not showing so they all couldn't have been down when the Googlebot arrived. Today, I verified all the links still existed (they do) and the PR is still 4 or over (it is). What's wrong here? I'm sure my site would rank better if these links were "counted". Any help/insight would be appreciated.

Google has never shown all of the links, even of those that are PR4 or more not all are listed.

I'm still waiting for some links from last June to show up. I doubt that they will. I also noticed that links from some sites were listed for a while, but when a link from the Google directory appeared in the list, a lot of the other sites that were originally listed suddenly were not listed anymore.

If the sites are "high PR sites" (7+) it might be that passing the PR was manually disallowed by Google. If not, check if Google has indexed the sites where the links come from.
