Since 6 weeks I can't see any strong changes within the serps and google is just switching between old datacenters! Additional they display the old description/cache of my website! I have changed it 4 weeks ago! Anyone else noticed that?

I have to disagree. Lots of new sites came into the index within the last week. And some of them are even at the top of the SERPs. Saying that, there's always a movement, but maybe not in the area you're looking at.

Hi baron13,

I've seen plenty of changes, most notably in one of my sites that previously ranked number 1 for the singular 2-word phrase before Florida, got knocked clear to Siberia, appeared number 1 for the plural phrase (after never appearing for the plural before), and has now returned to the number 2 spot for the singular phrase.

The description and cache may take time to update, a lot depends on how quickly they re-spider your site. If the others are being exiled your site may improve its ranking without being updated or vice versa.

How long does it take for changes to be noticed?

I am aware of a site that had one spelling error of a keyword on a page. The page was corrected many months ago, but it still shows up in searches for the misspelled keyword, and the snippet still shows the old content to match it. How long before this is corrected?
