Hi everybody,

First of all, I've been reading this site for quite a while now and I've learned a lot of interesting stuff! Thanks!

I've one little question. Is there any difference between submitting your site on the international (.com) version and a specific country version (like .nl) of a search engine?

Keep up the good work!

BĒrt, first of all welcome to WebmasterWorld!

There's no difference if you submit to .com or .nl at Google.
There might just be a difference in the SERPs on both versions, caused by language filtering/ranking which might be applied to local versions of Google.

Nevertheless submitting your site to Google works, but I'd definetly go to get links from pages already in Google instead of using the submit form. It normally generates better listings and traffic from the linking site.
