My site is about 2 months old now, and has been deep crawled twice now but only 2 pages show as indexed in a site: search and allinurl: search.

Is there anything that would keep Google from indexing a page after crawling it twice? Or am I just being impatient?

Increase your PR.
Get some external deep links.

I'd also mention PageRank. Time is also a factor you should take into consideration. Try checking all DCs. There are big differences (30%) for some of my sites.

My new sites get indexed within two weeks as I manage to get good links from other websites and the higher the pr is better is the chance of deeper crawl.

If it's the site I'm thinking of, Google has 86 pages indexed. Try site:www.yourdomain.com -asdfg. If you would like, i'd be happy to change some of the links I have pointing at your site to some deeper pages.:)

Make absolutely sure there are no tag typos that are tripping up the bots.

Run the code through validator.w3.org/detailed.html to see.
