There seem to be delays in Google process

It appears there are delays between the different steps of Googlebot, cache and update of SERPs

Since florida I am tracking my pages and SERPs closely.

11th: Googlebot picked up my page (shown in log and later in cache) never showed a date in SERPs and cache showed 3 week old date (pages have been dated & uploaded daily)

15th: showed in cache (dated 11th)

but no change in SERPs (20 terms/phrases tracked - no change on any)- is there a delay? Are we back to monthly updates?

Note: page was drastically changed to test OOP theory. Most keywords were reduced or increased by over 50%. Regardless of OOP theory that should have changed the SERPs at least a little (increased or decreased). But no change (other than + or - a few positions out of 200) on any terms.

Google hasn't added pages to any datacenter except -in for more than a week. -in finally had a bit of a move yesterday, but any hour/day now there is going to be a rather massive inclusion of new data onto the other datacenters. They aren't pulling the trigger on that right now, which is interesting in itself.
