Is this a sign of PR7 nearing for my site?

My homepage is currently PR7 (according to toolbar). However, all of the pages that are linked from my homepage are also PR6. Does this mean my main page is nearing PR7? It was from my understand, that other pages get PR off of the main page that sites link to (my homepage) therefore shouldn't all of the pages linked from my homepage have PR5? (I believe I remember seeing this, a few weeks ago). It is not until now, I noticed they are PR6 instead of PR5. I hope this means PR7 is nearing for my homepage. Could anyone comfirm this?

Zoraflex, if I followed that properly, it sounds like you have a PR7 for your index/default/homepage now. Having the internal pages one click away at PR6 sounds right.

I think it's a typo. I think zorafex was trying to say that they have a flat six.

It's possible that you are near a PR 7. It's also possible that you have some deep links working hard.

One way to check is to compare how the Google directory lists you within the category. Check the PR of the site above you.

Don't expect miracles from PR, though. Nowadays it's quite common for a PR 0 website to rank well above others with higher PR. It's been this way for awhile.

Yes you are right. My homepage is PR6 and all pages that are linked FROM the homepage are PR6. That's why I believe, atleast the homepage is nearing PR7.

I went to the google directory and I'm 11 a way from PR7 in that sense. There are 127 sites within the category.

A PR7 page will be a milestone for me. I believe that's the highest I will ever get, and I believe it will be an accomplishment when I reach that goal. There is only one other site in the world that has a PR8 in my niche. There is only about 5 in the world with PR7 :) I hope to be the 6th the next google update.

I was happy I got a PR7 before Florida. I'm upset that I'm nowhere to be found after Florida. I'm convinced PR means nothing now.

I have a relatively large site with PR6 homepages and perhaps a dozend or so PR6 link off of it... According to an alternative PR calculation the homepage is a PR6.55 and other sites I link to are PR6.15.

So 0.1 PR at PR6 can make quite a differenze...
