Im having a problem getting Google to index my entire site, its comes to the first page and thats it.

I use standard hyperlinks and im at a loss to know what to do. Other search engines rank my site well.

Any ideas?

Put a link to a site map on every page and a link to your home page on all of your site either via a hyperlink graphic like your site logo or text navigation at the bottom of your pages

make sure your site map has all your sites pages

use alt text on any graphics using keywords but do not over do it

check for any dead links

Put adsense on all the pages of your site

Use a site map like ncw164x said. Allow the spiders different routes through your site.

Try and get some deep links if possible.

Do you have another domain which previously pointed at your site?

Also - any redirects ever involved on the site(s)?

If no to both, "use a site map"

Is the home page bloated with loads of javascript, etc. A theory circulated a while back that Googlebot likes simple pages - i.e. pages where a high percentage of the page is readable text.

You should also validate the page, check the robots.txt file, get more backlinks (preferably to inner pages), ensure robots can navigate by simple html links, check whether you are gray-barred on the toolbar.

too much information

I have a site that has the same trouble, it's new so I'm not too concerned. But just now I discovered that the home page has a PR of 2 and the interior pages (which have never been indexed) have a PR of 1.

It's strange, but hopefully that means that a crawl is comming soon. I'm sick of PPC on a site that is waiting to be indexed.
