Like most, I have been sitting around hoping that Google will change things back or do something else before making any changes to me sites. Also, I have been analyzing the effects.
Many of my sites were not effected. However, one in particular showed some interesting (but obvious) changes in it's ranking. Up until the Florida update my best keyword phrase was the domain name (non-hypenated). That phrase also is the phrase that best describes my business. It is a smaller keyword throughout the site but is the main target phrase for the homepage. I have many recip. links (close to 100). Almost all of which include that keyword phrase. Anyways, I lost all ranking for that phrase. I had been in the top 3 before. Was it the recip links or the domain name? Who knows. I am planning to have my link partners change the achor text. The remaining 12 or so key phrases have not changed.
I am interested in your thoughts. Also, I am interested in what onthers have experienced.
Thanks much!

Is part of that phrase also part of the keyword phrases for other parts of the site, and are those also linked to within the site with the keyword phrase, including the word that also occurs for the main homepage?
To answer your question, not so much. On some of the pages, the page title contains the phrase. Further, the phrase is in the body text at least 1 time on ever page. I am not using that phrase as anchor text for linking back to the homepage.
Thanks again for your thoughts.
