Alt Text in Links No Longer Counts?

Alt text oddity.

On a linked image my very specific Alt text is MIA.
In [webmasterworld.com...] I mentioned a little test I was doing with Alt text, and now that page doesn't show up anymore.

If I was quick to jump to conclusions...... :-)
