So what is the consensus on new sites launching. I have a couple of decent content sites almost ready to go with boat loads of content and a well optimised to boot(css, h1, h2 etc).

I have this feeling that now is a good time, as good as any before. A lot of the competiton has been toasted and I feel that the algo will not be "rolled back". I may be wrong.

Has anyone else launched recently and have you seen any good results.

I've just launched a client site and it's showing up highly for the keyword combos I'd anticipated -- but it's a non-profit site so the phrases aren't competitive.

I'll certainly be trying to vary the wording of any links, and to concentrate on only getting links from relevant sites.

I've put out some sites in the last 2 weeks that are doing well. I wasn't "toasted" in the Florida update as most. Though I'll be toasted in Florida come late February.
