Multiple TLD/SUBS

I was wondering if you guys could help me with this PR question...

I have a site atm with a PR of 6 on the TLD, and 2 subdomains with pageranks of 4 and 5. I am currently thinking of restructuring the site and want to get rid of those subdomains and move to a different url (i own the .net and will use the .com). Is there a way I can move this pr over to the new site? Would using permanently moved (301) redirect pass the PR over to the new .com? Or am I best off sticking with the .net TLD?
