Interface language influences serps

Referring to this [webmasterworld.com] thread:

The language interface influences the serps even if the pages are all in English.

I was checking an English prase with Google language interface set to Dutch. The snippet for the #1 site said: "This account is no longer on the XYZ Hosting servers. You have tried to access a page that is no longer active on this server." Cache said the same so I wanted to report this as a dissatisfying result.

In Dutch we don't have the dissatisfied link so I changed the interface language to English. With the language the serps changed. Numbers 1-4 stayed where the were but 5-6 dropped to 9-10 (same site). Even the order within the site changed: #5 became 10 and #6 became #9. #5/#10 is a directory index page.

This site has a .nl domain name. Pages in English, site is bilingual, hosted in NL.
