Hey I found a spider some days ago and I wanted to learn something about that spider. I tried to find a picture of the spider on google then I could get information about it but I couldnt find anything. Does anyone knows any place where i can get information about this spider?
It is not that big, it's skinny, it's legs measure about 2 1/2 in. it's legs are yellow and black. And I think its the prettiest spider I ever seen. There was a bunch of those spiders where I found it. They live in trees and high places. I dont think they are poisonous... Anyways thanx if any of you can help me find out what kind of spider this is.

Nirvana, if you're actually serious, try a search on "arachnids". On Google, the datacentre I'm seeing has a good site at #1. I'm sure Ink and the other SE's will give equally good results.

It appears that you might have registered with WW after finding the site on a search of "spiders". If so, that's rather amusing, but I strongly suspect that you're really a webmaster with an odd sense of humour. Either way, welcome to Webmasterworld. You can find out about anything here... even spiders. :-)

Stefan, I wonder how Nirvana reached here on the forums while searching for the spider. :-)

Was it the Google Spider or MSN Spider? :-) hehehehe

WorldmasterWorld is Google's #1 answer for "spider identification"...
Sorry, Nirvana, you are in the wrong place. We are not talking about real spiders here! Just computer/internet stuff.
Here is a good start point for what you want:

LOL. Mods, nice call keeping this post alive! (Especially during a bandwidth draining G update like this one.)

I've got to go get my WW subscription paid...you earned it on this one alone. Too funny.
