Backlink not showing ...

Hi,

One of my site is having incoming links from good sites. PR 4,5,6 and more, but google not showing in backward links. Not even a single. Can anybody help ..?

Experienced, it can take a while to have backlinks show up. If it's been under a month or two since you got them, I wouldn't worry.

Good luck...Do your best in figuring it out. Our Site has
the same thing plenty of backlinks but Google doesn't
recognize any. This is going into the 9th month.

As far as my new site is concerned, all my sep backlinks are shown, this happened on oct 26.

I am hoping the same somewhere near nov 26 for oct backlinks. Now it seems a monthly game.

But you never know...............

My site is 2 month old. I hope so that G will show these links next month. I think when G will update these incoming links, site can have some better rankings... Rite?

Second thing i wud link to ask here, How google acts with the text writen for an incoming link. Means a computer hardware site is having 2 incoming links from the same page suppose PR7. 1st link text is ABCD & 2nd is computer Hardware. What you people think about it..?

Will G provide the same weightage to both the links?

same here. it's been almost 3 months and none of my backlinks are showing. i added about 7 PR5 a bunch of PR4 and 2 PR6. I know it takes time, but hopefully not to long.

I am having the same problem. My site has been active for over 6 months, all the web shows 417, alta vista shows 31. I am listed in dmoz and yahoo directories and have incoming links from pagerank 0-4 sites. I have cut down my outgoing links to pages with PR0 (like mine:) .I don't know what to do. I read everything that I can and am afraid that may be my problem, I change my pages almost daily. I have finally stopped worrying about keyword density and am trying to focus on having a nice looking easily navigable site.
any advice would be much appreciated.

From my experience, backlinks don't have to show at all while being counted.

The Toolbar PR is not something to rely on.

SERPs position for KWs is what is relevant (but not at the moment because of Florida).

I only check my positions in the SERPs.

Hello and thanks for the reply. evidently i am not reading enough, i dont understand serps. I looked it up and see that it is a search engine results page, but don't understand how to impliment or use. I will do some more research.
