Site was being built on subdirectory and google picked it up

became ranked #1 for keyword on the index page and ...

stayed there for 2 months...now this page is completely gone and a virtually identical page in my subdirectory is ranked #29

My .com index page disappeared and my /widgets/widget.php which is just the php version of the .com index page is ranked #29.

Can anyone help me with this one, I'm not sure what happened?
