Google directory in flux

How long will this take?

I'm getting varying versions of directory pages each time I check. Sometimes old, sometimes new. It seems like the old dance. Does anyone have any information on what process Google is using to update it's directory and how long it may take?

Thanks in advance.

The last word in this thread was that the directory on -va and -ex have been updated:

[webmasterworld.com...]

I haven't verified that this is still true as of this moment.

Probably the reason that you're seeing the results fluctuate from old to new directory is because you're hitting a different datacenter each time.

I would guess that all of the datacenters might have the new directory within a few days - or max of 4 to 5 days. But I'm no expert, and google's methods are constantly changing.
