Back Linking is not showing in Google search.

Hello there,

I am a website. Earlier I am having backlinkings over 160. After that I increased my back linkings over 200. But recent Google dance reduces my back linking to 118. I want to know, How and Why this happens?

I also want to know that,
Is PR zero doesn't counts in back linkings?

Please suggest me what to do to increase back linkings?

I don't want to involve in link exchange.

Only backlinks on a PR4 or greater page will be shown when using the link: search. It's possible some of the sites that linked to yours slipped below the PR4 threshold for displaying backlinks, but they may still be counting.

Guatam,

Just get links to your site's webpages. The higher the Pagerank the better, but do not worry too much about it. Try to get more than your competitor and try to get good link text.

Also do not worry too much if they show in your Google backlinks.

In a way the Google's backlink tool is very discriminatory. Try finding any "important" backlinks in a language with a relative small www presence, such as Polish, Dutch, Hindi? etc. Pagerank of webpages in those languages are generally lower.
Google might as well drop the tool for back links searches in those languages ;)

Thanks, for your information.
I had placed backlinking to my website more than 200.
But it is showing only 118.
The rest links are not coming up.
Moreover Google didn't visited those sites till now.

I don't know what is happening?

Please help me out with solutions.
