Multi Domain Dilemma (Duplicate Content)

I recently inherited several sites that have duplicate content. I plan on getting rid of the duplicate content and setting up permanent 301 redirects. The problem is deciding which to keep between 2 of the urls.

One of the urls is established in the Google and DMOZ directories, but that is it. The other url has all the links, and it is the better (key phrase and relates to customers) of the domains. Which one should I choose, and does it really matter in the Google scheme of things?
