Flash Intro and PR

PR dropped when Flash intro created

I have a site that until recently had PR4 on most pages. The design group added a brief Flash intro page that redirects to the previous home page. They actually did it without consulting me (SEO consultant) - I noticed soon after that the site's PR went to zero, EXCEPT for the intro page, with PR4.

They used Flash to redirect to the homepage, so I had them insert an html "skip intro" link at the bottom of the page, which is a small file. Its been a couple weeks but the PR hasn't been restored to the site - the intro still has PR4. Anyone with experience on this - is Googlebot just indexing the intro page, seeing Flash and leaving? My understanding is that it (Google supposedly reading Flash notwithstanding) will see that there is a Flash movie, skip the code and look for html. Should I just be patient?
Thanks!

We redesigned our whole website from standard HTML/ASP convo to a full Flash website some two months ago, and the position dropped 3 or 4 slots in the beginning... now it is slowly crawling up again.

If they are using relative links in the Flash file, I would change it to absolue links (see msg#2 in this thread: Googlebot reading flash? [webmasterworld.com]). Also, I would always put at least one normal HTML link on the page (as you already did). This should solve the problem. However, it takes some time until PR is displayed in the toolbar.

You should be able to work this out by looking at your logs.
