Does Google index dynamic pages?

My site has just started appearing in Google searches, it appears though that only my static pages have been indexed. I have a large range of products on my site and therefore, most pages are dynamic. It seems that it hasn't bothered to follow any links with a querystring (?id=10 etc).

Is it possible to get Google to follow one of these links? Or will I need to convert the pages into static pages?

change the querystring from id to something else. Although people have said it won't matter I had loads of pages with id= in it that google simply wouldn't visit. As soon as i changed it to something else it gobbled them all up.

Yeah, I think you could be right. I just looked at some of the URLs of pages appearing in a Google search, and there were definately some there with querystrings, but none with 'id' as a parameter.

Will I need to resubmit for it to re-index my site? Or is it just a case of waiting?

No need to resubmit since Google has already found the site. It visits sites regularly, so it will pick up the new URLs.

No-one really knows these days since the death of the dance. Much quicker than it used to be though so it isn't all bad!

Could be a few days to a few weeks, just hold on in there!
