cannot find my site from referer URL

Hi all,
I have a question about google result,
My log shows several visits from google, minutes later, I copy the referer URL to browser, but cannot find my site.
Does google change search results within minutes?
someone can enlighten on me?

Could it be the surfer has Google set to show 100 results per page or something, and you've got it to show 10 per page?

thanks, sounds reasonable, so it may be set up in user's cookie instead of putting some parameters in the URl
