Has anybody else notice this.

My search engine results on google in the past couple of days has been rotating on several keywords.

For this example I will use just one keyword.

Keyword went in this order

From 5 to 6

From 6 to 8

From 8 to 9

From 9 to 10

From 10 back to 5

From 5 to 6 etc, etc, etc......

Could this be the future of Google search results?

That is also happening for a few my keywords. The other have been stable in their rankings though. There haven't been any changes on my page where the keywords have been always changing in ranking. Their rankings seem to change twice a day.

I noticed that too, 1-3 (almost) every time I refresh.

I have PR3 and other two have PR5.

This morning I was very concerned... 2 of my sites were completely gone from the SERPs... this afternoon 1 of them is ranking better than ever.

I would think this rotation idea makes sense (though i haven't observed any). In top 10, the difference between PR, would quite likely be statistically insignificant to assert the ordering with in.

I've definately seen the rotations is SERPs, but I don't know if it's an intentional swaping of listing rank. It seems to be more about their newer continuous updating. As different sites on the web are freshened or updated they might get ranked above someone, who then, a week later, may get updated and ranked back higher.
Just a thought.
