I have a section with a limited amount of space where I'm trying to fit a few extra keywords in without making it look obscene. I was just wondering if seperating them by using a slash (/) will make them usable for Google. For example...
Instead of:
"100's of Red, Blue and Green Widgets"
I would like to use:
"100's of Red/Blue/Green Widgets"
A small difference in size in this example, but I think my meaning is still intact.
Currently using the former method my site will receive hits for "Red Widgets", "Blue Widgets" and "Green Widgets". If I switched to the latter would it still be able to receive those hits or would Google read "Red/Blue/Green" as one string and the only match would be "Red/Blue/Green Widgets". If that's the case then is anyone using a better method of shrinking down a few relevant keywords without making it ugly? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Readability is important. Is "100's of Red/Blue/Green Widgets" easy for a user to read? How important are one or two characters?
Instead of:
100's of Red/Blue/Green Widgets
How about:
100s of Red, Blue & Green Widgets
The "100s" is actually more correct than "100's" ("hundreds of..." vs "hundred's of...").
Also, if color is important to the widget beware of diluting the keywords. Do some searches for various red/blue/green widgets and then red widgets or blue widgets to see differences in the SERPs.
