I've got relatively new sites, and just on Saturday noticed they were getting traffic off google,(I look at the logs everyday) so I checked and was very happy and surprised with my top ranks on all datacentres and local uk google. Not for long. Sunday morning I found my sites disapearing off all Google datacentres but www-cw. By Sunday night sites were completely out even when I search using site command.
I am using seo techniques but not wicked ones. Its hard to believe that I got banned so quickly. Anyone else noticed something similar?

bignet,

I doubt if you've been banned. I think it's just google doing its thing. There have been a lot of reports lately about sites (and/or pages) showing up and disappearing - and showing up again later.

I've seen the same time on subpages of my 2-year old site.

I seriously doubt you were banned from what you mentioned. My guess would be that you were "freshed" so it's not unusual for a new site to pop in and out the index. You didn't mention just how old your site is, but as of late anything new seems to be bouncing in an out until google rolls out another update - rolling as it may be.

bignet, I wouldn't worry about being banned either. All my older sites are for the most part solid as a rock, but 2 new sites have been floating in and out of Google for the past 45 days they have been online.

It is frustrating (compared to several months ago), but I'm starting to see some improvement lately.

Thanks a lot. my sites are back and on top of serps for some competitve words.
Its just amazing that sites can show up on day 1, disappear on day 2, and then come back on day 4

bignet, in this environment [at least for newer sites], G-100 has been my best friend. ;)
