Redirecting from homepage - what about PageRank?

When visitors comes to my website http://www.widget.com/ i redirect them to a subdirectory http://www.widget.com/main/. However, when people create links to my website they link to http://www.widget.com/.

Now, http://www.widget.com has pagerank 5, and http://www.widget.com/main/ has pagerank 0.

My question is: How can I transfer the pagerank to my main page? I need this to be done, since googlebot is not following all my links. I think, that if my pagerank was higher - all the links would be followed.
